Mazda's one of the toughest bastards around to tank for him and has two free spells as well, plus the widowmaker vortex. Mazda's probably the best tank for Kroak though, two shield abilities in the same army is ridiculous.
Mazda's the only Slann it's worth giving to, because Zlaaq, but literally any saurus lord would probably do more damage with it. Which isn't good, but with the amount of damage resistance he has, it's fantastic. I do have to say though that if you yolo Mazda with the widowmaker, and have Lord Kroak waiting nearby, you'll do an insane amount of kills and take literally zero damage, between Mazda's built in regeneration and his heal.
Why did Mazda have the sword? It was an accident and I actually intended to lose the sword and immediately pick it up with another character but never got around to it. Damn thing is broken, might as well ignore it as a mechanic because it doesn't work anywayĪlso can confirm this bug happening twice, once with Malekith, once with Mazdamundi, for the same reasons, shrine of khaine being taken over. TRIPLE EDIT: I lost the Shrine again to a rebellion army, and immediately lost the sword as well. so this is obviously something not working properly.ĭOUBLE EDIT: After fucking around with a console command mod, it seems like if a Skaven faction takes the Shrine of Khaine, whether by conquest or settlement, the sword automatically returns to the shrine. Wulfrik no longer has it, but he still has the Curse of the Sword of Khaine character debuff. Turn 179 the Shrine is under siege by some unknown faction, and when the Shrine dies on turn 180, the sword is returned. it has nothing to do with anything I did.
